It’s always interesting to see what folks come up with when using Bronwood Bakery products. Here is a very tasty breakfast treat inspired by the awesome creativity of my 14 year old Grand Daughter, Leilani, who has been cooking and baking from scratch since she was 7.
She started by cutting out a 2″ circle in three previously baked, milk bread burger buns using a cookie cutter. Next, she placed them in an oven proof skillet and placed it all in a preheated oven at 400 degrees while she prepared her egg and cheese filling. The filling: Three farm fresh eggs lightly blended with salt, some Urban Blends custom blended seasoning “Stylin Italian” and some farmer’s white cheddar cheese. The filling was poured into the warmed burger bun cut outs, topped with some chopped fresh cilantro and plopped back in the oven to bake to golden perfection, approximately 7-10 minutes.
They were yummy enough for a repeat performance! Thanks Lei 😀
